An evening with Benjamin Stevenson

Join writer and comedian Benjamin Stevenson at the Tura Marrang Library for an evening of laughter and fun.

Benjamin Stevenson is an award-winning stand-up comedian and author. His first novel, GREENLIGHT, was shortlisted for the Ned Kelly Award for Best Debut Crime Fiction, and published in the USA and UK. His second novel, EITHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT, was shortlisted for the International Thriller Writers Award for Best Original Paperback. His novella, FIND US, was an internationally bestselling audiobook.

Off-stage, Benjamin has worked for publishing houses and literary agencies in Australia and the USA. He currently works with some of Australia’s best-loved authors at Curtis Brown Australia.  He loves hearing from readers on Instagram (@stevensonexperience) and Facebook (The Stevenson Experience).

EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY HAS KILLED SOMEONE is his third novel which has been sold in twenty-seven territories around the world and will soon be adapted into a major HBO TV series. It was shortlisted for the Dymocks Book of the Year 2022, ABIA General Fiction Book of the Year 2023 and BookPeople's Fiction Book of the Year 2023, as well as being named as one of The Sunday Times's best crime novels of 2022.

Benjamin has recently published his fourth novel, EVERYONE ON THIS TRAIN IS A SUSPECT, the eagerly awaited follow-up to EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY HAS KILLED SOMEONE - another deliciously witty locked room mystery.

Benjamin has enjoyed sold out shows from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival all the way to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has appeared on ABC TV, Channel 10 and The Comedy Channel. Lots of laughs guaranteed!!!
