New Co-Working Spaces at Bermagui Library
Bermagui residents and visitors can now have a new place to work or study remotely thanks to the opening of new co-working spaces at the Bermagui Library and Community Centre.
Library Services Coordinator, Yvette Parker said Council was thrilled to now be able to offer shared desk arrangements, single use offices, a communal area and kitchenette, stable and high speed wi-fi and printing and scanning services.
“Bermagui library is very busy during the summer period and these new co-working offices provide comfortable, quiet spaces to work remotely in Bermagui. Many residents and visitors to the area are often faced with internet coverage issues, so the new co-working spaces can cater for people living here and holidaymakers. At just $20 per half day, the co-working desks can be booked for a few hours or the whole working day, allowing people with their own devices to work and connect with online colleagues via the supplied smart screen. We are also looking at offering a smartscreen for online meetings in the near future.”
The co-working spaces are available Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 10.00am – 4.30pm each day.
