Bega Valley Shire Library Strategic Plan

We're planning for the next five years and we want to hear from you.

Our current Library Services Strategic Plan is at the end of its life. We're working on a new strategic plan to guide library services and facilities for the next five years.

Library spaces and services are adapting, technology is constantly updating and the way people use library and community spaces is changing, so what you think matters! We want to get planning and investment decisions around library buildings, collections, programs, technology and services right for the future.

It’s important for you to let us know what you think because resources are limited – what do you see as the priorities for your library service?

The Strategic Plan will be informed by feedback from library users, residents, community partners and library staff. Demographic data and NSW public library benchmarks and statistics will also be incorporated into the Strategic Plan.

Have Your Say

We’re planning for the next five years and we want to hear from you.

Now’s the time to let us know what you like and value about our libraries as well as what you want and need in the way of services, collections, technology, programs and events.

What do the shire’s future libraries look like to you?

Not a library member? We’re keen to hear from you too.

Let us know by completing the survey. Or email your feedback about library services to library@begavalley.nsw.gov.au. You can download the current plan here.
