Loans, Reservations and Renewals

Our library offers a wide range of materials for all age groups, including books, audiobooks, DVDs and magazines, as well as digital options such as eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines.

You can explore these options through our online catalogue.

If an item is lost or damaged, a replacement fee will apply.

• Four weeks for all items
• Up to 30 items at a time
• Up to 10 physical items at a time for reciprocal members

You can borrow or return items at any library in the Bega Valley Shire.

(Parents and carers are responsible for what their children borrow, including eResources.)

You can renew items twice, as long as they haven’t been reserved. Library items can be renewed in these ways:

Login to your member portal

If an item you want is currently on loan or at another location, you can reserve it through our online catalogue, in person at any of our libraries or over the phone. We’ll send the reserved item to the library of your choice and let you know when it’s ready for you to pick up.

Looking for a book not in our collection? We can request it from other NSW public libraries for a small non-refundable fee. Additional fees apply for items loaned from non-public or interstate libraries.
