Bega & Tura Marrang Libraries will be closed from 2pm on Wednesday 24 December and reopen on Monday 5 January at 10am.

Eden Library will be closed from 2pm on Wednesday 24 December and reopen on Tuesday 6 January at 10am.

Bermagui Library will be closed from 5pm Tuesday23 December and reopen on Monday 5 January at 10am

Here 2 Help

Did you know that 43% of our population does not have the literacy skills to cope with everyday life?

Here 2 Help is a collaboration between TAFE NSW Bega and the Bega Valley Shire Library. The drop-in service offers one-on-one tuition with volunteers in whatever literacy and numeracy needs people have.

Here 2 Help will run every Thursday in school terms from 2.30pm to 5pm at Bega Library; and every Wednesday in school terms from 10:30am to 12:00pm at Tura Marrang Library.

What to expect

Volunteer tutors work one on one with the client to reach an identified goal. There is no enrolment or assessments, just help with whatever the client wants. Clients are encouraged to bring in documents for whatever they want help with, but we also have resources at the library.
